Architectural Rules

 

Our neighborhood is governed by covenants that require that all externally-visible permanent modifications be approved by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).  For instance, here is a non-exhaustive list of changes that require approval:

• a remodel or addition 
• a new roof
• a new deck or patio 
• new fencing
• painting your house a new color
• new exterior lighting
• a new driveway or hardcover walkway

To obtain approval, please download the ARC Improvement Request Form and submit it via email to archreview@oohaboulder.org.  Note that approval from the OOHA ARC is required even for projects where you are also required to obtain approval from Boulder County.
